Hello and Dobry Den!
Today our adventure focused on our visit to Petrin park, home of the big "viewing tower" over Prague. Petrin park is located on a HUGE hill behind Prague Castle. Most parks, we have discovered, are located on the big hills of Prague. We figured all the big hills are parks because nothing can be built there anyways, so why not build a park!?

We walked all the way to the top. On the way up:

(at the top of the hill there are stations of the cross)
Once we finally reached the top of the hill/park we took the 300 steps (stairs) to the viewing tower.

There were two levels of the tower. This is the view from the first level:

And the view from the second, more scary level:

We also strolled along the Petrin park garden which is located at the top of the hill alongside the observatory.

Instead of walking back down the hill we took the funicular (zach likes to call it the "FUN"icular). We were surprised to find out that the funicular is a part of the metro system in Prague and since we have month passes, our ride was free...hooo ray!

It was a very cold and rainy day today, so we decided to get some coffee. Zach wanted to show off his cute little coffee cup that made him feel like a giant so:
Note* they were playing the "final countdown" while we were writing this blog - jess was waving imaginary scarves in the air while zach used his amazing magic skills to blow up a yacht
We love you!

Zach is a giant! I felt sick to my stomach just looking at that picture from the second tier of the tower. Was it swaying? More blogs!
yes! it was swaying! and there were no guards/glass between us and the outside all the way up the 300 stairs! i couldn't look down or else i'd get really dizzy (-jess)
Jeepers!!! That makes me want to throw up in my cubicle. Be sure to wear a safety harness next time you go up there.
Also, I don't think I have mentioned this, but I think your blog's name, "Pragous Blogous", sounds like a missing Transformer. It is more than meets the eye.
